Comment left Jun 20, 2010: "im 13. its ok but it's sooooooooo old fashioned. im like the world's youngest christine. my family and close friends call me chris or chrissi. i've gotten called almost every name that starts with a c or a k" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 01, 2010: "My name is Christine Ann. im 12. i like my name but it i wish it was shorter and less old fashioned." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 18, 2010: "This is my name...and I really love it.
However, was VERY popular when I was born.I went to school with between 5-10 Christines in each of my classes from grade school up.
Even as an adult, my workplace had 11 women in the office...and 5 of us were named Christine --including my manager!
I REALLY hate to be called by anything other than Christine...although it has been shortened to Chris, or Tina...or misunderstood as Christina. I prefer Christine." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 28, 2010: "My name is spelt Cristine. I have so many problems with people thinking I have left out the H and have even received bank cards and official documents with Christine even though I have filled out Cristine. I think my mum should have spelt it Kristine, it would have make my life a lot easier." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 14, 2010: "My name is Kristine, and i love mie because the spelling is more rare than Christine, or Christina" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Feb 03, 2010: "My name is Christine and people ALWAYS get my name wrong! there's just too many versions out there.. Crystal, Krista, Kristen, Christina,... People get confused!! I am called Bean for short." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Dec 07, 2009: "My name is Christine Tara. I know three other people named Christine in my school and the weird thing is they are all in my grade. It's a decent name, I wish I had a name that was more unique or wich my name was switched so it was Tara Christine. I like Tara better than Christine." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Nov 22, 2009: "I have always loved my name! I am Christine Mary and I love it because of its meaning, and second you rarely find another Christine around. It is really annoying when people call me Christina, and I don't really like it when people shorten my name because I have been known as Christine my whole life! It is a great name and it is so pretty and sophisticated! I will never grow out of it! It may sound weird but its true that some people will grow out of their names! Like I just picture a baby Brittney...and then can you a picture an 80 old grandma named Brittney ??? lol" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Nov 10, 2009: "My name's Christine and I love it, it has been the perfect name for me: generally simple (people sometimes call me Christi/Christin when they don't hear my name properly) yet also classic and sophisticated. It's a name that's good for children as it seems to grow up with them (if that makes sense.) I've known a few other Christines but just enough to where it's fun, like you're in a club with them. Overall I've enjoyed being named Christine, it's a great name :)" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Sep 14, 2009: "well my name is christine n i love it because it has alot of different ways like chris i especially like that one because my mami is the only one that calls me that i also have christi.lol that one is ok dont really love it but i could live with it.lol i dont really know alot of christine's so i rather keep it like that" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Aug 31, 2009: "Christine's my name. I like it a lot, because it's different and sophisticated." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 27, 2009: "My dad wanted "Christina" while my mum wanted "Christine"..am 19 now my dad calls me "Christina" my mum calls me "Tin Tin"..at school the call me "Tina"..I love the name, especially for its meaning and the different ways to spell it. m boyfriend is called Christopher. together we're known as "Chris Tina".Good match, huh?" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Mar 15, 2009: "People always call me ChristinA I have to always remind them there is no "A" in my name!
My niece couldn't say my name when she was little, so she called me Stine. My sister addy a "Y" and to this day I am still Stiney to a lot of people, especially kids!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Oct 05, 2008: "My name is Christine and I have gone my whole life being mistaken as Christina. I learned to stop answering people when they called me that... most people corrected themselves, but a few still call me that. Only one close friend calls me Chris, and another close friend calls me Teener (I call her Jenny-bean so it's an even-trade)." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Sep 23, 2008: "Teenie. That was my nick name too. Christine Renee-I like that combo too. I did not know many Christine's in the south, but when I moved north, it appeared more common." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Sep 05, 2008: "Oh, the nicknames! My little brother couldn't pronounce Christine, so I became Teenie. And it stuck when my husband picked it up, too. I prefer Christine. It's uncommon but not odd. Most people call me that now--but a few still say Teenie or Chris--or even Tina which is NOT my name. Christine is a great name!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Aug 21, 2008: "I Super LOve my name cuz it is so unique. My name is Christine Joyce and I like the combination of Christine And Joyce. One student is named after me. Her name is Christine Joy. Hehe. My BEstfriend is named Christina. I LOve it so much" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Aug 13, 2008: "i love my name! i'm the only person with my name at my school, and i absolutely love it! and i barely ever meet people with the same name! i think ilove my name so much because it's so unique. it does kinda bother me when people call me christina though, but i don't really mind when people ask me how to spell it. i'd rather them spell my name right than spell it with a k. overall, i love this name! it's very original and has a great meaning.... follower of Christ." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Aug 10, 2008: "I grew up as Chrissy. Now I go by Chris...exept by my husband...he thinks it sounds like he is married to man. Haha. But, I can say that evidently we now live in a world of crazy spellings where even classic names are getting slaughtered. I get mail at work addressed to "Kristeen." I'm not sure I have ever seen it spelled that way. Perhaps I just come from a small town." (Report as inappropriate)
