I have only met one other Caitlin (spelt that way), but plenty of other Katelyn, Catelin etc etc etc...
I find that there are so many varitations, and it is almost ALWAYS spelt wrong. I love the name, traditionally this was how it was spelt, meaning pure. Traditionally pronounced Kat-leen (with an irish accent..), I really enjoy having this name, and far more unique than samatha, georgie, jane, jess etc etc :)" (Report as inappropriate)

People always think I'm going to say yes when they ask if it's with a K or C. When I tell them C, they say, "oh so C-A-I-T-L-Y-N. And I'm like NOOOOO! frustrating! And then if they spell Caitie, which some people call me, they either spell it catie or caiti or caity. i hate it! but i love my name i truly do. and you know what's weird? when people spell it on paper, they have trouble with the T and the L...sometimes they flip-flop it so it's like cailtin. i mean, come on! cailtin doesn't sound anything like caitlin! but i really love my name! haha even though it doesn't sound like it!"
