Comment left Oct 12, 2010: "Do people who name their kids Xzavier realize it's redundant? The "X" is already pronounced like a "Z." It's like naming a kid Jjim or Bbob. And do they realize these kids need to be hired by somebody someday? I see "Xzavier" on a resume and I think, "his parents can't spell." This is one of those "too cute for its own good" kinds of names." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 03, 2010: "This was the name we choose. We like Javier but it is common in our Mexican heritage. And since it is excepted in Mexico to use the X in place of the J we decided to do the same. But one problem how would his grandparents call him if they only speak spanish? So we added the Z. So they call him Exzavier. We call him Zavi for short." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Feb 24, 2009: "We named our son Xzavier and it was the best thing we've done. Not only have I recieved positive comments on the creativity of his name but I feel it represents how far our world has evolved. We are a very diversified civilization now and some people cannot get over it. They still belong in that bubble where all Presidents should be one race. Amen." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Oct 25, 2008: "we named our son Xzavian. a little change from Xzavier...either way you have to put the X and Z in the spelling bcuz we want it pronounced like that. if u didn't spell it like that it would be pronounced zav-ian. we want it pronounced X-zavian...people who r saying it is spelled wrong or saying it's improper english have no idea what they r talking about. it's not a word it's a name, thus it has no correlation with english or any other language. so go be bland and boring name your kid something plain like xavier or bob..instead of being imaginative and different" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 29, 2008: "This is my boyfreinds name, I think it's great. I like it more than plain old Xavier... i dont think people understand that you pronounce it x zavier... anyways i like it." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Jul 23, 2008: "My son name is Xzavier. He loves him name. I've got many great comments about the way I've spelled his name. Most of the commnets have been from his doctors and his teachers. They say, "Thank You for spelling his name the proper way, XZAVIER!"" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left May 23, 2008: "This looks like how illiterate people may spell Xavier, after trying to read it, mispronouncing it, and trying to write it down later. I have heard people mispronounce that name and say ex-say-vee-ur. In English, the language we are using (Spanish doesn't matter unless you are in a country full of Spanish-speakers), a word with an individual letter said by name, has that letter separated from the rest of the word by a hyphen or by hyphens, as in x-ray and e-mail. So if that mispronunciation actually were correct, the name would be spelled either X-avier or Exavier. Those are NOT names. Do not use them. Instead, use the name Xavier and pronounce it zay-vee-ur in English-speaking countries, such as the U.S." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Feb 12, 2007: "When I see this name, I think that the parents of "Xzavier" are uneducated and cannot spell." (Report as inappropriate)
