I've met one other Toby (not sure about the spelling cuz she's female) and a Tobias, but that was all. I got a couple looks from people and even a few "Is that seriously your name?" one person even asked me "Is Toby a nickname that you like being called? What's your real name?"
I'm quiet, timid, and shy, and to my friends, that fits the name Toby.
Also, I HATE being called Tony, especially since it's my brother's name, I can understand people mixing us up, but some people who don't even know about my brother have called me Tony.
I guess the name does fit me though, I can't imagine being named anything else. Well, my mom considered Isaac, and when I think about it, well nothing wrong with the name Isaac, but I'm glad I'm Toby." (Report as inappropriate)
