Comment left Sep 21, 2008: "Our son is named Teddy, and I love the name. He is officially "Theodore." When he is older, he may opt to use that, or more likely, Ted. It is easy to spell and say, and not overused. The fact that a girl may be named Teddy is just another sign of the gender-blurring of names. I know a girl named Dylan, but I still consider it a boy's name. Ashley used to be a boy's name, as well with Kimberly. Alex and Sam are now just as likely to be girls as boys. I say, hold on to the good names for boys! The girls can't have everything!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jan 28, 2008: "My newborn baby son is called Teddy and we love it! There have been some remarks about whether he will get teased at school ie. Teddy bear but there at least it is a traditional English name and not one of these silly made up names that so many people opt for." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Nov 28, 2007: "My son's name is Teddy, and I love it! It's a very well-known name which everybody can spell and pronounce, yet it's not an overused name. My Teddy is seven, and I haven't met another boy named Teddy yet." (Report as inappropriate)
