The only reason very young trailer park livin' moms are loving names like Jaden/Jayden (etc.) and Quinn for a girl = Britney Spears' son Jaden and the teeny show starring her young sister, Zoey 101 ("Quinn" was a female character).

I'm not so fond of the nickname "Quinny" although sometimes people call him that. I prefer "Q"--only one syllable and he likes it too. Quinn does have a strong masculine sound to it as others have mentioned, which I like. He is living up to his name!" (Report as inappropriate)

Everyone thinks it is a great name and when strangers hear me calling him, they often comment. One pregnant woman said that she liked it so much she might consider it for her child if born a boy. It is a strong Irish name and not a common name that everyone is using. I hope that it never is. I have never wanted to give my son a "popular name" that 3 others in a classroon might have. His name seems to me that it will be a very fitting name for him even in his adult years. We dont know anyone with the name Quinn except as a surname. This was all before my daughter's first ultrasound. Even though the doctor's told my daughter to expect a Christmas delivery, Quinn was true to his word and was born 12/5/2005.
