Comment left Jun 03, 2010: "My name is Michele, but it's not pronouced Michılle. It's pronouced Mi-che-le or "Mikaylee." Michele is the Itailain form for "Michael." Even though I am a girl, in Italy, it is traditionally a boy's name.
So, yeah. No one can ever get my name right.
The funny thing is, is that "Mikaylee" is almost starting to become common, but no one spells it the traditional way because it looks like Michelle." (Report as inappropriate)
