I've had so many arguments over the "correct" spelling, but once people here dyslexic they back off. He likes it. Makes him stand out from the 3 other Michael's in his class. When my son was born we decided that one of his middle names was going to be Michael after his grandfather but when I went to register him I wrote Micheal not realizing that I wrote the wrong thing until I went for his birth paper but I was glad that I did because everyone else spells it this way (Michael) his way is unique and different which I love. I left it like that and I do not regret it one bit. Thumbs up to all the people whose Michael is spelled Micheal including my baby boy. It is only recently I went on the internet to see if Michael could be spelled Micheal and found out that it could be which I am extremely thrilled about. MICHEAL is a beautiful way to spell Michael. Just recently he was told he misspelled his own name on his passport. This has only come up a few times in his life because you don't use your middle that often.
