Comment left Nov 27, 2008: "I am due in just 4 days and plan on naming our new baby boy London Terrell. My husband and I see it on TV. There happened to be a college football game and when the starting players were being introduced I seen it come across the screen. I loved it and think it will go well with our other sons Blake and Bailey." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Nov 19, 2008: "This is our number one pick for a baby boy name! I had a terribly common name and hated it when I was growing up. I always wished I had a more unique name. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, as they say! I can't believe someone gets picked on by kids at school for having the name London. What are their names? Sheesh." Comment left Oct 22, 2008: "I have a baby boy, we named london and I think its the most precious name. not alot of people have this name, it was a really common name for boys in the'30's but since girls are allowed to ahve boy names with no problems and thus has grown into popularity most people associate it with being a girls name. its not but I guess now since more and more girls are being given this name it has become a unisex name. its cute either way!" Comment left Sep 22, 2008: "I gave birth to my daughter, London Sue Paige in April 2008. I came up with it because, my friend's name is Sydney, and I wanted a "City" name, Paris was a heck no because of Hilton's, of coure Sydney was out, and the next thing I thought of was, London. The people at the dr office all the time mix up my cousin's son with my daughter London and Landon. lol. I live in a small community so everyone finds it to be a gorgeous and original name. I love this name, and it totally fits my daughter, I could not see her with any other name. I really had NO idea it was a boy name, lol." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Sep 09, 2008: "My daughter's name is London Makenzie and I love the name. I think it is beautiful and both my husband and I fell in love with it. I view it as being an unisex name in that I can see it being used on a male or a female. Pretty much everyone I have come in contact with love the name with the exception of people from the United Kingdom...Oh well, I always say...to each their own." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 30, 2008: "I have personally only seen this name for a girl, but I could see it as a boy too. My son's name is Peyton, which is a unisex name as well. I have considered naming our next child if it is a girl, London. I do like the spelling of Londyn...that's pretty." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jul 30, 2008: "We have a daughter we just named London. To me it sounds like a girls name. Plus, I thought all cities took the fem. trait?
Anyway, its a beautiful name either way." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 24, 2008: "i named my daughter londyn lee. everyone loves the name when i tell them what it is. the nurse at the hospital said that i won the prize for the best name of the month when she was born. lol i'm surprised that the person with the name london gets ridiculed. i dont think london is weird or strange. my son's name is austin...and that's a city too. so is paris and brooklyn and dallas etc etc. no one seems to think those are weird." I wasn't so fond of it at first but my husband fell in love with the name the first time he heard it! It has definitely grown on me. Everyone has been calling her Londyn that changing the name now would by weird. Son Londyn it is. I don't like it as a boys name." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Feb 10, 2008: "My younger brother's name is London and everyone has always liked it. Someone we met once even ended up changing his name to London after being acquainted with our family. I think it's great for a boy's name. A lot of mom's now days just seem to like giving their baby girls masculine sounding names. *shrug* I think Berlin would be a pretty girl name if you're looking for a city. The "lin" part..." Comment left Jan 24, 2008: "I just heard this name on American Idol and fell in love with it. We are expecting soon, and if it is a girl, London is in my top 5 for name choice. Heck, maybe even for a boy." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jan 09, 2008: "My four year old son is London. Because the name is not common, people who have not seen him in awhile have a hard time remember his name and call him Landon or Londean or some other strange variation. People who meet us for the first time always say how unique/uncommon the name is, but most say they like it." (Report as inappropriate)
