(kayden nathaniel)my friend also had a boy the year before and named him kayden i didn't want to steal it from her but she said it was ok and she understood, it was perfect no other name was gonna match. no problems with it so far everybody just loves it!! my older sons name is wesley and his name isn't that popular but i have heard it before. i love both my kids names!!" When I was in High School in 1982, I decided that my first daughter would be named Kaydean. By the time I had her in 1990, I had changed that name to Kayden. I do not remember hearing of the name prior to naming her. Since I had not heard of the name, I decided that her name should mean, "Gods Melody". I have since heard of many different meanings for the name, but in my heart it will always mean, "Gods Melody". Kayden is in college and a member of the chorus and the concert band!" I liked the name Kydan or something similar, which id heard once before, and my sis suggested Cade, we played around with the names for a while and came up with Kayden, so for a name i thought we made up lol it has become quite popular.
