My co worker gave me the boy version of Kaidian which turned out to be Kaiden. I named my son Kaiden who was born Friday the 13th of May 2005. By the time he was born (two years later)it was far more common. I think spelling his name will be easy by the time he's school age, because it's becoming very common. It's a great name." Comment left Aug 16, 2009: "i like the names jayden and aiden. my middle name is Kay, so thats how we got kaiden. our original plan was to give the baby my husbands middle name or first name as the babys middle name and give the baby a first name of its own. and if we had a daughter the middle name was going to be kay, but we found out chances were super low for having another baby, so just incase we didnt have another baby, we wanted the baby to have a name to go with both of us. I thought his name was unique in spelling, and pronunciation, as it was made up from other names, but have since discovered on the web lots of names spelt Kaiden, but pronounced Kayden. My son's name is pronounced Kai, as rhyming with Eye, Kai-den. I have not heard of any other Kaiden, in Oz or NZ pronounced this way. Anybody else pronounce Kaiden this way?. Thanks." People do frequently pronounce it KIDEN (rhymes with BIDEN), but AID is pronounced MAID, RAID, AFRAID, etc, so it seems fairly simple to me.
