Those are usually the folks that I would never take advice from to begin with ;) and then there are surprised looks and many compliments at what a strong nice name it is. I just loved the name and meaning behind it so when I knew I was having a boy, there was no question I would name him that! It's been mispronounced a few times, but I know my son won't mind. Comment left May 07, 2008: "PS: Just wanted to add the meaning as it is known in Germany. It originated in Northern Europe and means "Warrior" or "Fighter". Someone that never gives up.
In Germany it is also neseccary to add a middle name to identify the sex. It is used mainly as a male name but in Skandinavia it is also a very common female name." (Report as inappropriate)

A very social 3rd grader, he just brought home a report card of 10 A's and 2 B's, is working towards his brown belt in Han Guk Mu Sool (a Korean martial art) and helps his mom and dad and anyone else in any way he can.
