They go for "Josua" which is easier for french native speakers and I don't mind. Joshua is now 22 months old. He's able to pronunciate his name correctly. He's the sweetest baby in the world. Joshua is a soft name. It suits him perfectly. he's quiet, charming, loves what's beautiful, patient. He keeps saying "I love you" to his relatives. He's incredibly clever for his age. Joshua is a name that came out of nowhere while I was pregnant (there aren't many Joshuas in France), and I had to fight to have people in my family accept it. My son is mixed breed and some people feared he might have problems bearing a Jewish name, but I didn't want to change my mind because of some narow-minded people.
