User Comments about the name Jagger
Comment left Aug 20, 2008: "My sons name is Jaeger and it definitely fits his personality. We love it!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 03, 2008: "Although best-known as the surname of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, as a first name it was recently chosen by American actress Soleil Moon Frye, of 'Punky Brewster' fame, and her actor husband Jason Goldberg for the second of their two children, Jagger Joseph Blue, although this one is a GIRL. Their first child, born in 2005, is also a girl, this time with the more feminine-sounding names of Poet Sienna Rose (Poet is actually a borrowing of the word 'poet' which indicates somebody writing poems)." Comment left Jan 04, 2008: "I named my son Jagger. I am VERY happy with it! We did get alot of weird looks in the beginning suggesting "why are you naming your child that!" when I was pregnant with him but all have come to see it suits him perfectly! And dang it, its just a COOL name I think. We hear that all the time now." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 05, 2007: "This is my #1 choice for my son, if our baby-to-be is a boy. My husband is afraid it is too uncommon and wants to go with a Jeremy, or Montgomery, as if Monte is so common. I love it. I read it in a baby book and went gaga for it. Then, it finally donned on me that Mick's last name was Jagger, but also Antonio Sabato, Jr. played a "Jagger" on General Hospital. Rock star and sex symbol cool...By default, if your name is Jagger you are cool. People will automatically be tricked into believing it. It is just that suave and debonair. I prefer the spelling Jagger/Jager to Jaeger...there will always be those frat guys that will label him of Jaeggermeister. A really hot nickname could be Jag! How many people have such a cool name that they could go by Jagger or a shortened Jag? (Except for the Maxwell/Max guys, of course, as this is my first son's name...and maybe Quenton,/Quinn) I give it less than a decade to catch on and take off like a rocket! (Just as Cade did over the past 10 years)." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Oct 16, 2006: "Easy to pronounce, but rarely used. Everyone loves it! You are either a Jagger or you aren't. Not all kids/men can pull off this name. It is a strong name for a strong man and spunky boys." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Dec 22, 2005: "We spelled it Jager but pronounced as Jagger for our son. He died last year at the age of two. We loved the name and he was an awesome sweet, generous boy. People would often pronounce it like Yaeger which we didn't like." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Nov 25, 2005: "I really like this name- it's original and assertive too. I knew a Jagger, and everyone knew him, too! Although I prefer the spelling "Jager" or "Jaegar"" (Report as inappropriate)
