Not wanting to be like the others, I choose to find a unique name. I like the actor Eric Braeden from The Young and The Restless. I was going to name him Braeden but being that I didn't want the Br I somehow came up with Jaeden instead. Even though I didn't use the full Braeden name, I still have some of it in there!" Comment left May 23, 2006: "Well, my we named my son Jaeden. Long story short...my husband liked Aiden, I thought something was missing so I went though the alphabet adding letting to Aiden. Jaiden came out and we both loved it, although I wasn't crazy about the spelling. So I looked up other ways to spell Jay and came up with Jae.
