Comment left Dec 21, 2008: "Ho-hum. Glenn here, with two 'n's. I despise my name. If I was a Catholic, I would believe my name has its origins somewhere in purgatory. I have found the meaning of my name to be 'little valley.' I believe that this has somehow cursed my life and I now reside in the 'Valley of the Shadow of Death.' For all of you abusive parents out there, if you so choose to name your child 'Glenn,' albeit with one 'n' or two (it doesn't matter much), you will be banishing your child to a life of ho-hum boredom and misery. There is nothing you can do with a name like, 'Glenn.' If the best dressing you can give it is two 'n's, that's not much. My dad... the insensitive, uncaring person that he was/is... his name is 'Glenn,' too. No wonder- he didn't want to be the only one. This is a generational curse. One would think that my father, after suffering with this name for 26 years, would have learned. Instead, he passed it on to me. Nice guy." (Report as inappropriate)
