Everyone remembers Damien the creepy kid in the Omen. For people who have asked about the storyline it's "set in Fulham, England, tells of the childhood of Damien Thorn, who was switched at birth with the supposedly stillborn child of a wealthy American diplomat with only the husband's knowledge, in order to keep it from affecting his wife. Damien's family is unaware that he is actually the offspring of Satan and destined to become the Antichrist." But I agree with the comment left by someone else before, just because you name your kid Damien doesn't mean he's the antichrist or spawn of satan. It's just a name used by a movie. Might as well shy away from names like Carrie, Freddy, and Jason as well. When I checked in to a new school they jumped all over me looking in my head for 3 sixes! Hilarious. I asked my mom and then she told me about the movie. The other story is I played High school football and I had a incredible game and the writer used my name in line with the omen about how I brought fear to the opposing team! I think it is a nice and unique name although many people pull faces when she tells him his name and again refer to the omen but damian is also the name of a patron saint and the singer damien rice is also famous for his relaxing music and doesn't seem devilish to me! so if your thinking about that name go or it! some people find faults with any name but in the end people will get over it and if it is the name you like thats all that counts."
