My fathers name is Cleve aswell and I received his name.
I haven't always liked my name, but I have gotten used to it over the years (I am now 28)
I spell it "Cleave" now, but it is still on my birth cert as cleve.
I think it looks more feminine with the "a".
I find it hard to tell people over the phone my name as it is only one syllable, and no one has ever heard this name, so I am constanly getting..."sorry what was your name again", which gets a wee bit tiresome.
