Comment left Aug 13, 2009: "My son's name is Cayden Jacob and he was born Dec 1, 2007. I think it's a boy's name for sure! Maybe spelling it with a "K" would make it more feminine. Anyway, it fits him perfectly...cute name, cute kid :) and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 08, 2009: "my second son is called cayden. it is the only name me and my partner could agree on and i love it. he is 2 now and people still spell it wrong, either kadyn or caden" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Apr 29, 2009: "I love it. I'm thinking about nameing my second son and second child cayden, havent found a middle name for him thou yet. but i got untill the end of sept to figure it out though" (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Feb 19, 2009: "I think it sounds better for a boys name and think that will be the name of our son. We liked Caleb too but it is very popular so this is the other one my husband and I can agree on." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Oct 08, 2008: "Caden's spelling doesn't seem as girly as Cayden for a boy." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Oct 01, 2008: "We named our son Cayden first! He was born on July 16, 1996. We made the name up using the boy name, Kai from Wales and changed the spelling to Cay, then added den which is the Norwegian definite article, which made his name mean "The fiery rejoicer". Later the name took off and now there are all kinds of variations. Our son is 12 now." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 12, 2008: "my sister is expecting a boy in October and i know she was looking at baby names everywhere she went, but then my mom said the name Kadyn and it stuck with her, although she changed the spelling around and made it Cayden...i thought it was dumb sounding at first but it has now grown on me.i can't wait to meet baby Cayden:)" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 10, 2008: "I called my daughter Cayden because i think it makes a beautiful name for a girl. everybod agrees with me - they admit theyde never have thought of it but now theyve heard it they love it. nobody has any trouble pronouncing it nad mosy people love it (though some think its slightly odd fro a girl)." • Comment left Jul 31, 2008: "I'm expecting a baby at the end of February. We decided on the name Cayden if it's a boy." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 23, 2008: "I'm having my second son, third child, this September and we are going to name him Cayden. Love how it sounds and out here in California, not many people have ever heard of the name. His older sister is Kaylee so we thought it would be perfect together." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 18, 2008: "July 17, 2008 my husband and are expecting a boy December 2'08 and we have chosen the name Cayden Christian. I was a little disappointed to find that it has become popular in the last several years. we want unique." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 30, 2008: "I named my son Cayden Trent back in 2001. I honestly thought I had made it up! It really gained popularity the following year. I wish it had stayed less common. Although, I find that most people are spelling it "Kaden", so it's still semi-unique. I have heard of one person I know using it for a girl, and I don't care for it. To me it is masculine. I have heard Cadence for a girl and that, to me, is better. I wouldn't consider this name unisex, but maybe that just cause I have a boy Cayden." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 06, 2008: "We named our son Cayden Brian in 2005. We love the name. Although it's become a more popular name in the past few years, we liked it because it was different, but not too different. It fits him perfectly." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left May 07, 2008: "just found out im pregnant and the name cayden seems to be stuck in my head .. i dont know where ive heard it before .. anyway i mentioned it to my fiance and hes was not impressed !! .. however im sure i can twist his arm ;-)" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left May 06, 2008: "Tonight my 1rst child, a boy, Cayden was born. I love that name, for a girl or a boy. My wife and I picked it within 1 minute of trying from reading a random book browsing a store. I'm in the midwest, never heard it before, but have since learned how popular it's becoming. Obviously I'd love it if my child were the only that wore that name, but when I hear what I find a beautiful name, I would've still chose it if it were the #1 most popular. Then again, my name's Tom! Rare one right!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Apr 29, 2008: "My husband & I are expecting our first child this summer, a girl. We've decided on the name Cayden Colleen...despite all the comments that this is a boys name - we love it!" (Report as inappropriate)
