Although, I find that most people are spelling it "Kaden", so it's still semi-unique. I have heard of one person I know using it for a girl, and I don't care for it. To me it is masculine. I have heard Cadence for a girl and that, to me, is better. I wouldn't consider this name unisex, but maybe that just cause I have a boy Cayden." (Report as inappropriate)

My wife and I picked it within 1 minute of trying from reading a random book browsing a store. I'm in the midwest, never heard it before, but have since learned how popular it's becoming. I provided her with the proper enunciation of Kadin and recommended she spell it Cayden, like Hayden. I had never heard or seen the name, in any form or spelling before my nephew was born." I have never met another Cayden and absolutely love the name and think it is feminine and fits her individuality. People do have a hard time saying it and usually end up calling her Cayd or Caitlyn. Now I am online searching for 'unique' names for my son who will be born in September. Unfortunately, Cayden seems to be a popular name in this decade.
