  • Comment left Oct 15, 2010: "I had a son on October 3,2007. His name is Caiden Alan and at the time this name was not very popular and I thought that no one had spelt it the same way. Now I see that this is not the case, it is alright to share the name because it means "compassion" and maybe this world needs a little more Caiden's." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Oct 10, 2010: "My son's name is Caiden William, born July 1st, 2010. I was looking for something unique when I decided on the name Caiden, I'm glad to see other people feel the same way I do about it....LOVE IT! :)" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Sep 27, 2010: "My daughter had a son just 30 days ago and named him Caiden Andrew. It sounds to be of Gaelic origins...Lovely little fellow, sweet and peaceful! I love Caiden and his name! Not sure what it would be shortened to one day?" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 24, 2010: "My son's name is Caiden Ray. He was born in December of 1998. I thought that I had an original name that would not be common unlike my name. Little did I know... 4 girls having boys after me loved the name so much that there were 5 boys named Caiden by the time my Caiden was 3. I think it is the best name! Shame that it isnt so original any more. I guess that is what happens to such beautiful names such as this!" (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Aug 13, 2010: "We named our son Caiden Robert, which is somewhat creepy as someone else has noted that is their son's anme below (Comment on December 31, 2009)...His birthdate was June 19, 2008 and we thought, as did most of you, that his name was original. Similar to many, again, we liked Aiden, wanted a strong C name, and decided to modify Aiden to become Caiden...When I was dropping him off at daycare last week, there was a Kaiden on the hook beside him!!!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 12, 2010: "I had never heard of the name either. I liked the name Aiden and my husband Josh liked Cade, after his nephew. So we put them together and named him Caiden Joshua." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Aug 11, 2010: "How funny to see a post from another woman who thought she'd made up the name! :o) I thought the same thing when I combined and worked a bit with mine and my husband's names, looking for a strong C name with gaelic/celtic origin..." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 01, 2010: "We named our 4 month old son Caiden and so far in our part of England it is still very unusual. We pronounce it like Kayden and have only once had someone call hin Aiden instead. His name fits in with our daughters who all have names begining with C and which are all Gaelic varients." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Jul 31, 2010: "My son was born May 28,2004 and I thought I invented that name and spelling. I mean I did invent it but I guess I just wasn't the only one." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 24, 2010: "I am naming my daughter (due Sept. 16) Kayden Nicole. My boyfriend and I chose Caiden for a boy but liked it so much we altered it when we found out we we're having a girl" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 29, 2010: "My son's name is Caiden Michael, but pronounced as Ky-den instead of Kay-den...we call him Cai (Ky) for short. We knew we would call him Cai and I liked Jayden and Ayden so we combined for Caiden...most people think it is (Kay-den) at first but like the twist on the pronounciation." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left May 17, 2010: "My son was born in 1993 and I named him Caiden. I had only heard it once prior and they did not spell it the same. I now see it everywhere and I thought I was being original!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Mar 24, 2010: "We named our son Caiden Brendan Liam born in jan 2008, we adore the name and it suits him so much. No one was able to say it i ended up telling people it was Aiden with a C. Everyone loves it and my hairdresser went and had her son and called him Cayden. He is a year younger then my son." (Report as inappropriate)
