Comment left Aug 08, 2011: "My son born in 2002 is named Braden Carl, the Carl is after my father. Love, love love the name after 9 years. He is our Brady, Brade and Brady Butt~ Brady is very appropriate for a litte boy, young man, college kid and Braden is very professional sounding as well~" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 09, 2011: "My 20 year old son is a "Braden." But known as "Brady" all his life. No one ever uses his last name. Coaches and college professors all just call him "Brady." He says it's kinda like "Pele" or "Che." He loves both "Brady" and "Braden." He says people love "Brady" and are impressed by "Braden" when they learn its his formal name. I've always called him just "Brade."" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jan 03, 2011: "I was given "Braden" as a middle name after my Grandfather in Pennsylvania. He was the first generation born in the US from an Irish father. I don't know why he had that name. My parents shortened it to "Brady" as a nickname and I liked it because it was different and always stuck out. I was born in 1960." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Dec 01, 2010: "My husband and I named our little baby boy, Braden and I can't be happier with the choice. We decided to not use the "y", because it felt a little to feminine for a boy. I have not yet met anyone else with the same name, but I know they're out there and that's ok with us!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Sep 21, 2010: "I named my son Braden in 2006 after the Braden River in Bradenton Florida. My husband and I always travel through that way and we decided to name our first boy that because we love that area. Before then, I had never heard the name. With the recent Target commercial with all the brown lunch bags saying Braden but spelled many different ways, I thought I should look up its popularity. I have only run into a few Braden's. So I thought it was sort of weird that Target picked that name appear on the lunch bags. In 2005 it was the 133 most popular name. I love the name. I had no idea it was popular. I guess the way it is spelled is still unique. Most people I run into are spelled with a y." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Feb 22, 2010: "I love this name! I know I'm a girl, looking up baby names because it's fun! but, this name is awesome! I love it sooo much. When I'm older and have a baby boy, I want to either name him ashton or braden! SO CUTE :)" (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Feb 05, 2010: "Eric Braden is my name, and when THEY mispronounce it Brady, Brandon, or anything else it just shows how much they are listening, and also their IQ if they are actually reading it off a list. To many teachers did that. Sorry to the teachers, but get it RIGHT." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Nov 13, 2009: "We are expecting in March 2010 and plan to name our son Braden. We loved this name from the beginning but had never heard it before we read it in the baby name book but we like it without the 'Y' - it seems it may be becoming more popular so we hope he won't have too many issues with the pronunciation." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Nov 11, 2009: "I love that name. My sons name is Braeden. Everyone always comments what a beautiful name that is." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Jul 05, 2009: "Braden is a nice name, but no matter what everybody calls me Brandon, even my fellow nurses who have to use the "Braden Scale" every day still turn around and call me Brandon. Perhaps it is becoming a little less common with the popularity of the name, though." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Feb 16, 2009: "My grandson's name is Braidon...I love the name!!!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jan 21, 2009: "I will name my baby boy Braden in June when he is born. I like the way it goes with my first son's name Taven (short a, rymes with gavin. i think it is unique and beautiful. I also just love the way Braden Allen sound together. Im very excited." • Comment left Nov 29, 2008: "My name is Braden Miller too, and i dont like it. I'm sick of people mispronouncing it and I wish my parents named me something normal." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Oct 02, 2008: "My name is Braden Michael Miller and I have always loved my name (born in 1981) Although it does get frustrating repeating the correct way to say it to people telling them its NOT brandon or brad-en." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Sep 11, 2008: "We named our little girl Brayden Nicole, we love her name. We call her Braydie as a nick name. I know this was about boys with the name Brayden but just thought I'd suggest saving it for a girl. I have never met another girl with this name. I think it's a beautiful name and very unique. Everybody seems to love it and everyone tends to remember it. just a thought." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jul 24, 2008: "My 7 year old sons name is Braden, I still think the name is unique and love it. Every time we tell someone his name is Braden, they respond "Oh, Brandon, what a nice name". It's kind of funny. I haden't met anyone who had a child named Braden until 2005 - 2 people I worked with named their son Braden - both spelled Brayden. So the spelling "Braden" is still unique in my part of the world anyways. I love the name - and am sure he will find that's it's quite common as he grows up. Our next son will be called "Bourne" another great name - even more unique - at least for now!!" (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Jun 30, 2008: "I named my son, Eric Braden. I still love it and most importantly, he likes his name." (Report as inappropriate)

  • Comment left Feb 22, 2008: "Yes it has become increasingly popular. I first fell in love with the name in the Spring of 2004. I had planned to name my first son Braden, but when he was born in February 2005, my husband decided that he wanted a Brian Jr. I eventually had the oppurtunity to name my second son, Braden William when he was born in June, 2007. It is crazy now because it seems that everyone is naming their children Braden. Well, I plan to keep with the "BR" them and name my next either Bryce or Breanna, depending on the sex."
