Comment left Jun 25, 2008: "If somebody named John was to have been nicknamed 'Baby John' (like one of the Jets in the 1961 film adaptation of West Side Story), it's probably because his father would be John, alias 'Daddy John' or 'Papa John'. Baby John may also be nicknamed 'Sonny John' (not to be confused with 'Sonny Jim' - a nickname for any male youngster by someone much older)." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 26, 2008: "When parents cannot think of a baby name in the hospital while they are filling the paperwork to get birth records, social security cards, etc. for their baby, the government goes ahead and fills the first name as "baby" and the parents change it later. Comment left Sep 21, 2007: "Sorry if I offend anyone here. This is one of the weirdest names I've ever heard...I mean, "Baby"? You can name a pet, or a tree, or a bag of chips Baby, and you can use it as a nickname, but not a full name for a child.
