Comment left May 17, 2008: "Some boys of recent times named Adam or Oliver are so called because of having great-aunts of whomever named Ada or Olive. Adam and Oliver are the "boy" names of today (a decade or two ago, however, Oliver would have been viewed more as a "grandpa" name), and although Ada and Olive are generally seen as "grandma" names at the moment, both names are being used for young girls once again while they are still relatively unpopular. If ever I came across a man named Ada instead of Adam (Ada without the "m"), I'd go "Well, wouldn't you Adam and Eve it?"." (Report as inappropriate)
